A few months ago the always lovely Snow from The Drama Corner nominated me for a Sunshine Award! I am so thankful and kind of embarrassed that it took me so long before I get around answering the questions. But let’s not waste any more time now and just go straight to the questions.
1. What is your favourite thing to do when you are not watching dramas?
Usually I read books. Or I’m out with friends for a coffee or for a night out. I watch movies and I take walks around the city. That’s pretty much my life!
2. Which is your all time favourite movie in the following categories: [1] Thriller [2] Romance [3] Comedy.
Well I don’t really watch thrillers, so I don’t have a favourite one. As for romance, I really like watching romantic comedies. My favourite in this genre will have to be You’ve got Mail and Notting Hill. If we’re talking about korean movies Petty Romance is both romantic and funny. Another favourite, from Taiwan this time, would have to be Hear Me. As for comedies… I don’t know, they are not usually what I go for. But a funny one is Hello Stranger a movie from Thailand. Way funny…
3. Your favourite book.
Well I don’t usually choose one and only one in any category but if I had to choose I would go with Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. It’s beautifully written and the story is full of melancholy but at the same time hope. There is this quote from F.Scott Fitzgerald that says:
This is part of the beauty of literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you’re not lonely and isolated from anyone. You belong.
And this is exactly how I felt after I finished this book. I thought that people no matter where they are from or what time period they have lived, they experienced the same things as me, they felt the same as I have at some point. It’s the feeling you have sometimes that no one must be feeling the same way you do and then comes a book like this and proves you wrong.
4. Your go-to drama.
I don’t have one! I know crazy but it’s the truth. But my to-go category is romantic comedies. The warm feelings and the cliché patterns always get me!
5. In your opinion, the best drama couple is………..
I had made a post about my three favourite couples so I’m gonna link the post. It hasn’t changed since then!
6. What is the best smell in the world?
Ohh you have no idea how many times I have thought about this question before. I remember especially when I was reading the Harry Potter books and in Half Blood Prince there was this potion Amortentia that smelled different for each person, and you could smell your favourite scents, I was thinking “Which scents would be my favourite?”. I’ve come the conclusion that my three favourite scents so far are: freshly baked bread, the smell of soil after it has rained and the smell of books/old paper.
7. Your dream pairing for a drama.
I don’t have a particurlar one but as I’ve mentioned before I would like to see Gong Hyo Jin and Jung Woo Sung together. I really like them as actors and I think thy would make an interesting couple.
8. Your favourite character from Friends (if you haven’t seen it, then from any other American T.V. show)
I’m a Monica and Chandler person all the wayyyyyyyyyyyy!!
I love your answers! Don’t worry about the delay….always nice to see a post from you….glad that you have increased blogging in 2015 😉
